There’s a reason people call Columbus “the biggest small town in America.” Our city welcomes you with open arms, easily navigable streets, and an impressive network of local businesses to explore.
Around here, we know our neighbors and bake cookies for new ones. We sleep soundly, knowing that our friends have our backs. When you’re here, it’s like the rest of the world just melts away, and all that’s left is home.
That’s why it’s no surprise that I recently reconnected with Jamie, a friend from school. Sure, we hadn’t seen each other in years, but that didn’t matter. Catching up with her felt like the most natural thing ever.
Since we last spoke, I became a realtor, and Jamie opened a Peach Cobbler Factory. I was so excited to hear this because… sweet treats. Enough said.
Now, having tried many different menu items, I’m telling all my friends and family members about Jamie’s shop. If you’re a dessert lover like me, you’re going to adore this place.
That’s right — don’t be fooled by the name. While it’s called Peach Cobbler Factory, the menu includes a plethora of items to satisfy any sweet tooth. We’re talking cookies, puddings, brownies, cinnamon rolls, milkshakes, churros, and even Belgian waffles. It’s an absolute smorgasbord of sugary goodness.
And to wash down any of these treats, you have to try their incredible peach iced tea. They bottle this liquid gold so you can bring it home with you, too! Just be forewarned: it’s dangerous. Once you start drinking it, you’ll be addicted.
My personal favorite dessert on the menu is the Red Velvet Banana Pudding. It’s a unique twist on the classic, packed with flavor that will leave you craving more.
So, next time you visit Gahanna (about 15 minutes outside of Columbus) or need a sweet treat, swing by Peach Cobbler Factory. Bring a friend if you can! And tell Jamie or her husband that Jill sent you.
